SOCMA Signs on to Business Committee Letter Urging Passage of MTB

SOCMA signed on to a letter to the leadership of the U.S. House of Representatives supporting swift passage of the miscellaneous tariff bill. The letter states that passage of this bill has been held up for too long. The bill’s provisions for duty suspensions, last passed in 2006, expired at the end of 2009 and are critical for many SOCMA members and for maintaining U.S. competitiveness in manufacturing.
