Biotech Mission to China Oct. 17-20. The Department of Commerce is organizing a biotechnology life sciences trade mission to China Oct. 17-20. This mission is intended to include representatives from a variety of U.S. biotechnology and life science firms and trade organizations. It will include site visits to biotech industrial parks, government meetings and receptions in Beijing and Hong Kong.

A minimum of 15 and a maximum of 20 participants will be selected for this mission. Those interested must submit by Aug. 15 a completed and signed mission application and supplemental application materials, including adequate information on their products and/or services, primary market objectives and goals for participation. Each applicant must also certify that the products and services it seeks to export through the mission are either produced in the U.S. or, if not, marketed under the name of a U.S. firm and have at least 51% U.S. content.
