On February 22, 2013, EPA posted newly declassified health and safety submissions in which the chemical identity had formerly been claimed and treated as Confidential Business Information (CBI) and updated its progress in making more chemical information available under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
EPA made publicly available health and safety information from almost 300 TSCA cases bringing the number of cases in which formerly confidential chemical identities have been declassified to nearly 800.
